INFORMATION: Tasha is a very friendly girl who can be shy at first but warms up quickly. This girl is always up for a face rub and butt scratch. Tasha gets along well with the other dogs here and doesn't bother with the cats. She is working on house manners and usually uses the piddle pad or the great outdoors. She still hasn't figured out that we are not torturing her when we put the leash on to go for a walk so she gets her exercise just running around the yard. Such a nice girl she is!
HEALTH: Good!! Tasha is current on all vaccinations, dental, micro-chipped, & spayed.

These folks here want me to have a special loving home so you will need to provide personal and vet references as well as have a home visit before I can come and live with you. My adoption donation is $200.00, and personally I think I'm worth every penny.
Due to assessment evaluation, they would like me to stay in foster care for a minimum of 2 weeks to help me get ready for my new family. I will be allowed to travel out of state so don't be afraid to ask about me (please note: we must follow the airline restrictions on temps so please be aware of that, any costs associated with travel will be your responsibility). ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption fees support the process of preparing all of our dogs for their forever homes. LAC provides quality vetting service including spay/neuter, vaccinations, dentals, when appropriate, healthy grooming habits, and basic training for living in family settings. By fostering them in our homes, we are able to advocate for what the dogs need whether that is a soft pillow and quiet, calm hands for companionship or a fun and busy place, with walks and toys. Matching the life style of the household to the needs of the animal insures everyone is happy and expectations are met. If needed, we provide transition counseling for the adopter and always will take the dog back into rescue if something changes in the living situation. When you see the adoption donation amounts, we'd like you to know that 90% of the time the donation amount doesn't even come close to covering our kid's doctor bills. This is definitely not a money-making venture. We're usually so far in the hole but the important thing is to get these kids the medical care they need and help them find the perfect family. That's our top priority.
POTTY TRAINING: Please note that we NEVER say our kids are 100% potty-trained. How naive would we be to say something like that?
